How should the painting be hanged and preserved? The final painting will be varnished and wired before delivery, so it will be ready for hanging. Even though I DO NOT offer framing services. there are many beautiful frames online available for purchase according to your desired style. As a general guide, here are some tips to protect your artwork from damage. • Avoid hanging your artwork under direct sunlight. • NEVER use any cleaners or solvents on the surface to clean the painting. Instead, just lightly dust off the artwork with a soft feather duster or sable brush. • Always handle artwork with clean hands and avoid touching the surface directly, to prevent smudges, fingerprints, or accidental damage. • Hang the artwork somewhere with moderate temperature and humidity levels to prevent warping, cracking, or other forms of damage. Avoid displaying artwork in rooms with high humidity, such as bathrooms or kitchens.

I want to book you! What's the full process like?I'm so happy to hear that! • First things first, check my availability by sending me an inquiry for your wedding date. Once confirmed, we'll schedule a consultation to discuss the details of your painting. • On the big day, I'll be on-site for 5-7 hours, starting on the background 2 hours before your event and continuing for 3-5 more hours during the festivities. There will be a 20 minute break every 2 hours. I will be photographing the focal points of your ceremony, as reference for the painting. I’ll also require a small table and chair, and some food and drinks. • After the wedding, the painting will be about 70% complete. I'll take it back to the studio for some finishing touches and wiring. Within 2 weeks, it’ll be delivered to your doorstep.

Can you still paint my wedding after it's over? The answer is a resounding “Yes”! • I can paint directly from your favourite photographs of the event. I can also incorporate elements from multiple photos into one painting if necessary. • And to sweeten the deal… Post-wedding paintings are subject to a $100 discount! This makes it ideal for couples with budgetary constraints.

What will the consultation look like? The consultation will be held online through a phone call, with follow ups through text or email. A few things I will ask are: • Do you have a specific vision you want for the painting? Or would you prefer to trust my artistic intuition? If necessary, I will sketch out the ideas for your vetting pre-wedding. • Which moment do you want me to capture? For example, the vows, first dance, kiss or cake cutting. • Do you prefer a portrait or landscape painting? • Are there any particular people, pets or objects (photo reference required) or calligraphy words (e.g: bride and groom names) that you would like to include in the painting? • Last but not least, we will discuss the specific setup requirements at the venue. I will have to be in an area with a clear line of sight to the ceremony, preferably sheltered. I’ll require a small table and chair, and some food and drinks. The consultation provides an opportunity for me to understand and ensure your vision is translated into the final painting. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Can we interact with you during the event?A thousand times yes! I am always happy to interact with people while I'm painting. It warms my heart seeing people's eyes light up when they see art come to life. You or your guests can watch me at work, take pictures, ask questions, or just have a short chat with me.
